Direct Service Providers (DSPs) play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well- being of residents by:
• Following Care Plans & Medical Directives Adhering strictly to individualized Plans of Care and all relevant medical instructions.
• Creating a Safe & Nurturing Environment Fostering a supportive, respectful atmosphere where residents feel secure and valued.
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Providing hands-on support with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility needs.
• Toileting & Incontinence Care Helping residents with toileting routines and managing incontinence with dignity and discretion.
• Meal Assistance Aiding residents with meal intake and feeding as necessary to ensure proper nutrition.
• Medication Oversight Supporting residents in the self-administration of medications.
• Health Monitoring Observing and reporting any changes in physical or behavioral health promptly.
• Responding to Emerging Needs Remaining flexible and responsive to evolving care requirements and unforeseen circumstances.
• 18 years of age or older
• GED or high school diploma
• Must be able to pass and become CPR/ first aid certified.
• Ability to converse with residents and other members of our community in the English language.
• Able to physically assist our residents with ADLs, transfers and assistance with mobility.
• PCA, CNA or caregiving skills
• Prior experience working with those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, etc.
Direct Service Providers (DSPs) are scheduled to work 12-hour shifts, operating on either a
day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Shifts are organized in blocks of either three (3) or four (4) consecutive days, allowing for consistent coverage and continuity of care, while also ensuring adequate rest periods for team members between work cycles.
Starting at $18 -20 per hour. Salary is based upon previous experience and education.
